Põltsamaa museum

Põltsamaa museum is located within the walls of the ancient Põltsamaa castle. It gives an overview of the glorious past of the stronghold, town and the parish. You can book guided tours and educational programmes. Museum operates togetehr with Põltsamaa tourist information, where you can buy local souveniers and take free tourism brochures.

Guide service 35 €/hour

We offer guie service in the museum, at the castle yard, in town and in Põlltamaa municipality. The service is available in five languages: Estonian, Russian, English, Finnish and German.

  • Disabled children up tp 16 years old and their companion;
  • Severely disabled above16 years old and their companion;
  • Repressed people;
  • Military conscripts on the Republic of Estonia wearing a uniform;
  • Employees of Estonian museums;
  • Members of ICOM;
  • Members of Estonian Museums Association;
  • Teachers with a group during a study visit.
