Parking<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The nearest parking places are located 200-300 meters from the castle, you can walk to the gate on a same level pavement. Parking for the handicapped is located near the main gate and marked with a special sign. Entering the castle yard with a car is only allowed in agreement. In P\u00f5ltsamaa municipality, the parking is free of charge.<\/p>\n

You can enter the castle yard from the main gate and the church gate.<\/p>\n\n

Families with children<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Access with a stroller \/ baby carriage is possible to:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Ground floor of the gate house – info and exhibition area (including toilet with a baby nappy changing table);<\/li>\n
  • First floor of the museum house – exhibition aera. Ground floor of the museum house – restaurant Oberpahlen;<\/li>\n
  • Courtyard of the convent building and also castle cellars (access with portable rails).
    The main doors of the buildings are located on the same level with the ground or are accessible by ramps. There are no stairs to the front doors. Also, there are no stairs by the main gate or the church gate – moving around at the castle yard is at the same level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Good to know: restaurant Oberpahlen offers a kids menu and family card “Perekaart” is valid there.<\/p>\n\n\n
