We can always adjust the focus and the length. The recommend group size for the guided tour is max 30 people in one group (except bus tours) &#8211; that way, everybody will get a better visiting experience. Bigger groups are divided into two separate tour groups.<\/p>\n<p>We offer four different tours in the following languages: Estonian, English, Finnish and Russian.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>1. THE EXCITING STORY OF P\u00d5LTSAMAA<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The new gate building of P\u00f5ltsamaa castle introduces history of the area on three floors &#8211; you can find interesting exhibits, findings, games and a small cinema hall here.<\/p>\n<p>During the gate building tour, we will learn about the history of P\u00f5ltsamaa, including king Magnus, the king of Livonian Kingdom. In the cinema hall, we will see a short move about P\u00f5ltsamaa and its rulers during different eras. Also, we will talk about interesting fondings &#8211; for example, recently, a sword that dates mack into the 15th century, was found from the moat surrounding the castle. We will also have a virtual dinner with castle owners of different centuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Length of the tour:<\/strong> 1 hour<\/p>\n<p><strong>Price:<\/strong> guide service 50 eur\/h + <a href=\"https:\/\/poltsamaaloss.ee\/en\/poltsamaa-museum\/\">museum tickets<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We advise to plan an extra hour after the guided tour, so you can explore two museum houses at you own pace:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The gate building &#8211; explore exhibits, play games, read the texts in more detail.<\/li>\n<li>The old museum house &#8211; see the exhibitions of P\u00f5ltsamaa wine and food. FROM THE ORDER FORT TO ROCOCO CASTLE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>During this tour, we will get an overview of P\u00f5ltsamaa fort, established by the German Order, and will visit EELC P\u00f5ltsamaa Niguliste church, which is built on a former canon tower. We will learn about the castle story and people, who played an important role here.
